Violence Against Women Support Group

Helping women navigate and rebuild their lives.

Our Violence Against Women Support Group at the South Asian Women’s Centre (SAWC) provides a safe and supportive environment for women who have experienced violence. We offer resources and support to help them rebuild their lives and regain their confidence.

Our services include:

Support groups: Facilitated group sessions where women can share their experiences and receive emotional support from peers.

Counselling services: Individual and group counselling to address the impacts of violence and support healing and recovery.

Safety planning and resources: Assistance with creating safety plans and accessing community resources such as shelters and legal support.
