Served as an international observer on behalf of Canada in several post-conflict nations in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, working with organizations like the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), The Council of Europe and the United Nations. A former banker, Elizabeth spent nearly thirty years working with all three levels of Canadian government, and volunteers as an advocate for affordable housing across Southern Ontario.
